Every Sunday, youth volunteers participate in serving the church. They serve as Attendance Takers and Cadets in Children’s Sunday School, as Acolytes, Greeters, Ushers, Lay Readers, Assistants during Communion and more.  Are you interested in getting your youth involved in church extracurricular activities? Check out what we have available for them. If you are interested in any of these activities, please contact Andrea.

Devo Zine is a monthly devotional guide specifically for youth. We now have copies of these in the Narthex. Please take a copy and let Andrea know what you think. If you enjoy Devo Zine and find it meaningful, we will continue to order copies.  The following appeared in Devo Zine and was written by Maria Nisly, 17, of Hartville, Ohio:

"Please don’t judge me by what I wear or by the way I do my hair. Please don’t look at the car I drive – I’m not the vehicle; I’m the person inside.  Don’t base your thoughts on how I talk, and don’t make fun of how I run and walk.  Don’t concern yourself with where I live, how wealthy I am, or the gifts I give. My skin may be a certain shade – it doesn’t tell you my worth; it’s how I was made… We are precious in God’s sight, deeply loved. Our differences don’t matter to God above.  If we could only see people through God’s holy eyes, we’d never label others with tags that are lies."
