United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women centered in relationship with God through Jesus Christ; focusing on ministries with women, children, and youth, and involved in missions locally and globally. UMW is committed to inclusiveness, pledging to provide financial support for mission and engaging in the development and use of skills for service, leadership development, and personal growth. A general meeting of the entire membership is held each month.
 
Circles, or small groups, are created to allow membership to focus on special mission works and in-depth study, and experience community and continued involvement. There are seven circles that meet at different times through the month to allow greater participation. Nursery care is available for anyone needing this service.

Time to start thinking about the UMW Cookie Sale!  It's a holiday tradition at AUMC and it isn't possible without all of your donated baked goods.  This year's sale will be held on Saturday, December 12th from 9-11 a.m.  More info to come on donation drop-off times.
